I
found the reenactment to be a wealth of reference material
with participants and attendants in period dress. I was so
impressed with the authenticity of literally everything used
throughout the entire event.
It
is such a pleasure to watch the children play, much as they
would have during that period. When you walk through the camps,
you can see families sharing a meal that has been prepared
over an open fire. You feel as though you have stepped back
in time.
"Flowers
for Mother" was painted after watching a lovely little
girl playing around one of the camps. There are so many paintings
in my head now, just waiting for their moment, their turn
to dance across the canvas.
"They
Just Fade Away" is the latest addition to this series.
Response to this painting was almost overwhelming, and the
catalyst for this website. Here I will be offering Prints
and Giclées of my Civil War series as it continues
to grow.
I
am proud to now offer Giclées on Canvas and paper of
my latest Civil War Image, "They Just Fade Away".
I
will be offering 4 sizes of this image, two will be on canvas
and two will be available on paper. Each size will be a limited
edition of 250 prints, signed and numbered. A Certificate
of Authenticity will be shipped with each Giclée.
Only
archival materials are used to produce these Giclées.
I
do hope you will check this site often as I am currently working
on two new Civil War pieces to add to this collection.
Please
Note: Color varies for monitor to monitor, so I cannot
guarantee that the color you see on your monitor will match
that of the original Paintings or Giclées.
Thanks
so much for visiting this site and please stop by often to
see new images available.
